Primary care providers are highly trained and certified to complete Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals and Immigration Examinations.
The specialists at L.A. Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine provide in-house digital X-rays, lab services, an on-site pharmacy, pulmonary function tests, and on-site electrocardiograms (EKGs) for added patient convenience. We utilize eScreen technology for instant urine drug testing.
The practice offers advanced technology and procedures to optimize health outcomes, as the urgent care team maintains their medical credentials with continuing education.

About Dr. Quesada
Abel Quesada, MD, MPH, is an urgent care doctor and the medical director of L.A. Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine in Vernon, California. Dr. Quesada founded L.A. Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine to provide patients with efficient, affordable, quality healthcare. He has over 15 years of experience in industrial medicine and looks forward to providing his patients compassionate, thorough health care.
Dr. Quesada was born and raised in Southern California. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego. After graduation, he earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He also studied medicine abroad at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico and obtained his Master of Public Health from West Coast University. Following medical school, he trained in general surgery at St. Vincent Medical Center in New York City and LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Dr. Quesada is a Certified Medical Examiner for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, a designated Civil Surgeon by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and is certified in acupuncture and functional medicine.
